During the accademic year 2018-19, the Pupil Premium group in the school were analysed by staff to identify what barriers there were (or might be) that would prevent them from making the same, or better, progress than the other children in the school. The funding was used to reduce the liklihood of this being an issue for these pupils from investment in teaching for all pupils; intervention for specific pupils and other approaches to ensure that Pupil Premium pupils were not disadvantaged. The impact of this funding led to postive outcomes for these pupils as you can see from the yellow tables in the impact report. (The orange and green notes relate to monitoring carried out by the staff during the year). Much of what worked well this year will be continue during 2019-20 and we will also continue to work hard to narrow the difference between the groups in writing.
