Tweets information
Tweets are a progressive set of times tables tests aimed at consolidating your child's knowledge and speed of times tables upto 12x12.
The children start Tweets in Year 2 and will receive a certificate in assembly once they have obtained 100% in their specific test. These tests allow children the opportunity to practice quick recall of known facts, aiding accuracy and speed when completing higher level mathematics as they go through the school, it has also been found to help ease cognative load.
Once your child has completed all of the Tweets they go on to the Maths Champion test, once this has been successfully completed the child is presented with a badge which they can wear in school to show everyone that they are a Maths Champion.
We are encouraging the children to use Times Tables Rock Stars to support their learning in this area of mathematics.
