Last term all the children took part in the BBC 500 Words Live Lesson. They learned about character, setting and plot and then they all wrote a story. The entries were very varied and the children used all the skills they had been learning, not only from this lesson, but all their class lessons too.
The teachers handed in a selection of their favourite stories to be judged. (The judging panel was the Wren family aged 3 years- 70 years).

On Wednesday 14th October, we were visited by some people from the National Grid who told us what it is like to work on a building site and then we were treated to a visit by some 'mad scientists'. Here are some photos of our children dressed to go on a building site.
