We have had an eventful term so far… We received a package that had accidently been delivered to the wrong address. It was intended for a ‘Dinosaur Research Centre!’ After contacting the rightful owners they asked if we could look after the package… and that we could open it! Inside were two eggs, one had already hatched and the other was still intact. The Hedgehogs decided they were dinosaur eggs and that we should look after it until it hatches. They made posters, nests and wrote letters to warn people about the eggs. There was lots of great work!
We opened our self-service playdough station this term. The Hedgehogs are encouraged to independently make their own playdough. They can help themselves to the ingredients and measure the amount they need. The adding of the water seems to be the trickiest stage!
